About
A spark ignited the moment Gabriel crawled into Dad's F1 simulator at only 8 months old. It was not long before he was hooning around the house on his 'Redbull Racer' push car and steering the ride-on lawn mower for Dad.
His first real set of wheels was a 50cc dune buggy, which he mastered in no time. Gabriel would spend hours thrashing it around the back yard, skidding around obstacles and practicing figure eights.
Gabriel started driving a 60cc MiniRok cadet kart on the Xtreme Karting track at 3 years and 6 months old and hasn't looked back. His speed, skill and lap times are constantly improving, along with his love of driving.
2017 saw Gabriel racing on a 80cc Comer engine and he walked away with a nice little collection of podium finishes in 2018.
In 2019 Gabriel turned 6 and was old enough to join Karting Australia to attend practice on KA tracks. He spent the year honing his skills on a Vortex MiniRok and began racing again in 2020, when he was at age to race KA events. Gabriel won all of his P-Plate events and has placed on the podium for the majority of his races. Check out Gabriel's Racing Resume here.
Gabriel has worked with Dave Sera, Australia's most successful kart racer, and is determined to constantly improve his skills. He also uses Dave's Kart Class resources, which have proven to be a great learning tool.
